It was a torrid afternoon for Leeds on Sunday, and not just because of the annihilation they suffered at the hands of Widnes.
Tom Briscoe, Ashton Golding and Carl Ablett all limped out of action in the first-half against the Vikings, with all of them unable to continue thereafter.
All three are now major doubts for the World Club Challenge showdown with Jonathan Thurston’s North Queensland Cowboys, adding to an extensive injury list already causing havoc for Brian McDermott.
Thanks to everyone for the messages. No news yet. Will know more through the week.

The Rhinos went into the game at the Select Security Stadium without Danny McGuire, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Stevie Ward and their new signing Beau Falloon.
However, McDermott refused to use injuries as an excuse for their embarrassing defeat, and also stated that the clash with the Cowboys shouldn’t have been a distraction.
“We weren’t great,” he said.
“The most disappointing things are how we played and the injuries. We’re not sure of the extent of the injuries, but all three are very doubtful for next week.
“Jamie Jones is close but it would be silly to rush him back.
“We will have a look at Beau Falloon, but he was going to be in a boot for another ten days at least, so if we do play him it would be a risk. And Stevie Ward is nowhere near.”
