Leeds Rhinos will be without Mitch Garbutt for the next two games after he was charged with Grade C punching in the World Club Series game with North Queensland Cowboys.
Garbutt has used his early guilty plea following the offence, which earned him a red card in Sunday’s game.
He was sent off in the 73rd minute after landing a heavy punch on James Tamou.
It means Brian McDermott could be without up to eight first-team players for Saturday’s trip to Catalans in what is currently a game between Super League’s two bottom sides.
He will also miss the game with Huddersfield Giants in just under a fortnight.

Danny McGuire, Beau Falloon and Jamie Jones-Buchanan are just some of the injuries in the Rhinos camp at the minute.
