Hull KR enforce media ban

Hull Kingston Rovers have banned the players from speaking to the media, according to reports.

The club’s local paper, the Hull Daily Mail, has reported that players have been forbidden from speaking to members of the print and radio media following their humiliating defeat at the hands of Oldham in the Challenge Cup last week.

No players are expected to attend the club’s media conference later in the week ahead of Sunday’s match with Castleford Tigers.

It is being reported that the ban is just for this week, with the club demanding a response on the field following a poor run of form that has seen them slip to 11th in the Super League table, just one point ahead of bottoms side Huddersfield.
