Castleford Tigers coach Daryl Powell has insisted that Salford were the only club who were interested in winger Justin Carney after breaking his silence on the Australian's controversial exit from the club.
The Tigers moved Carney on after an infamous off-field incident, sending him to the Red Devils on a season-long loan.
