Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane admits that his side are not “killing it” with their offensive play – but says he sees plenty of reason to be optimistic in the weeks ahead.
The Warriors travel to Warrington tonight in a huge top-of-the-table clash, with two vital points on the line at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Wigan have had to do it tough in recent weeks without many of their top stars, and whilst Wane says he knows his team need to improve in attack, he’s also a big fan of what tonight’s opponents possess in their star-studded side.
“They have some unbelievable talent in their side, I’m a big admirer of some of their individuals,” Wane told Wigan Today.
“We know the areas we need to improve.
“We’re not killing it in attack, but when you look at the players we have to come back, we have to be positive.

And one of those is half-back George Williams, who could come into the reckoning this evening.
“Having George back will help us become crisper,” Wane admitted.
