Profile
Born in Auckland, Ikahihifo was signed by the Warriors as a utility forward
also capable of playing in the centres. After being a part of the Warriors
Under 20’s side who won consecutive titles in 2010 and 2011, he was then
moved to the Warriors lower grade side, Auckland Vulcans in 2012, where he
bulked up in preparation for his step up to the NRL.
He made his NRL debut at the tail end of the 2012 season. Playing as a
utility back rower, mostly off the bench for 2013, Ikahihifo moved into
the lock role for 2014 before finding himself spending time as a prop in
2015.
Ikahihifo signed a deal with the Dragons for the 2016 season, but before he
got to play for the club, he was granted a release to play in the
Super League for Huddersfield.
