Luke Gale is not on his way to Hull Kingston Rovers, TotalRL understands.
Reports earlier this week linking the Castleford halfback to the club are unfounded, with the Tigers talisman on contract with the club until the end of the 2017 season.
Gale, who has impressed once again this season after picking up the Albert Goldthorpe Medal award in 2015, is being tipped by many to play for England in the Four Nations later this year.
The 27-year-old has hit new heights since joining Daryl Powell’s side, enjoying a meteoric rise at The Mend-A-Hose Jungle since joining from relegated Bradford at the start of last season.
His performances have naturally created interest, but he will not be joining the Rovers any time soon.
