Warrington Wolves won impressively at St Helens to maintain their title push and dent their hosts top four hopes.
Ben Currie, Chris Sandow and Ryan Atkins gave the rampant Wolves a 16-0 lead at half time against an increasingly disappointing Saints side.
Stefan Ratchford and Rhys Evans put the game beyond Saints reach within ten minutes of the restart as Jonny Lomax’s try for the hosts proved little consolation.
Saints now sit six points behind the top four whereas Warrington remain in second place, two points behind Super League leaders Hull FC.
St Helens face another of top four sides next weekend when they travel to Catalans Dragons.
