Jack Hughes has avoided punishment following an incident involving Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook.
Hughes had been accused by some of eye-gouging the Saints forward in his side’s 20-18 defeat to Keiron Cunningham’s side.
The former Wigan forward strongly denied the allegations, telling League Express that the two had shook hands following the match.
The Match Review Panel assessed the incident today and have decided that Hughes was innocent. The incident is described as: “player becomes involved in confrontation with opponent and makes contact with face of opponent and pushes out. Player does not gouge opponent.”
Meanwhile, three players have been charged for incidents in last week’s action, with Greg Worthington and Jamie Soward both set for a date at Red Hall following their involvement in an incident during Leigh’s victory over London, which saw both players sent-off.
Danny Brough has been handed a Grade C charge for striking.
The halfback has been charged for the use of elbows in an incident involving Salford’s Logan Tomkins, which could prove to be a huge blow for the Giants, who could be without the Scotland international for three games.
