Hunslet Hawks have granted utility player Ben Crane an early release from his contract.
The 24-year-old joined the Hawks from fellow League One side York City Knights at the start of the season, and played eight times for the club, scoring once.
However, Crane is now looking to get into coaching at amateur level according to the club, and with him out for the season with an injury, the two parties have agreed on terms for a release.
Crane will have an operation to sort out his existing injury before looking at his coaching options.
