Jordan Tansey has agreed a mutual release from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats with immediate effect.
Tansey played 12 games for the club, scoring one try after joining the Wildcats from Castleford Tigers; the 29-year old also had a short loan spell at Huddersfield Giants this season.
Wakefield Chairman Michael Carter said: “We would like to thank Jordan for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him all the best for the future.”
Tansey has been rumoured to be attracting the interest of Canadian side Toronto Wolfpack about a move to the club next year.
