Bradford Bulls half-back Dane Chisholm believes the impending arrival of fellow pivot Leon Pryce will be “perfect” for the club in 2017.
With way over half of the current Bulls squad set to depart Odsal at the end of this season, next year will mark the start of a new era for the club in Rohan Smith’s first year in charge.
Chisholm will be a key part of that alongside Pryce in the halves, and he told the Telegraph and Argus that the former Great Britain international’s arrival will be massive for the club.
“Will we complement each other as a partnership? Definitely,” said Chisholm. “Leon’s a great footie player who has been there and done it all during his career.
“It will be awesome for me to have someone like him alongside me controlling everything. I can hopefully do a few things off the back of what he does.
“I think having someone like Leon will be perfect for all the new boys in the team next year.
“He’s an older head who will get all the boys gelling because he’s been there and done it at the highest level.
“He knows how to get the job done and will bring a lot of maturity to the club, which we probably need.”
