Rangi Chase will miss Castleford’s trip to Catalans after being handed a one-match ban for tripping.
The halfback was sent to the sin-bin during the Tigers’ defeat to St Helens last week, after a foul on Saints fullback Jonny Lomax.
He was handed a Grade B tripping charge by the Match Review Panel, and Castleford have decided to use Chase’s early guilty plea, meaning he will miss just one match.
Meanwhile, Hunslet’s Matt Carbutt and Rochdale’s Jordan Case will also miss time on the field after both were charged with punching one another as the Hornets defeated Hunslet 34-18.
Carbutt will miss one game after using his early guilty plea, while Case’s hearing will be heard later this week.
