Cronulla Sharks booked their place in the NRL Grand Final for the first time since 1997 with a 32-20 win over the North Queensland Cowboys.
The Sharks, who now qualify for the World Club Series at the start of next season, raced into a 32-6 lead following tries through Sosaia Feki, Chad Townsend, Luke Lewis and two from James Maloney.
Lachlan Coote had earlier made in 14-6 with a try shortly after the break, and although Kyle Feldt scoring two quickfire tries to cut the arrears, which was followed by a late try by Coen Hess, it was all too little too late for the Cowboys, ending their hopes of back-to-back Grand Final triumphs.
