England make three changes for squad against Australia

Wayne Bennett has named all four halfbacks in England’s squad for their Four Nations Test against Australia.

Kevin Brown and Gareth Widdop have both been recalled to the squad along with James Graham, who returns following injury.

Scott Taylor is one of three players that has been cut from the squad following victory over Scotland, with Wigan’s Dan Sarginson and Liam Farrell also missing out.

News emerged on TotalRL earlier today that Wayne Bennett is ‘seriously considering’ a return to the squad for Kevin Brown.

The battle for selection in the halves remains the biggest talking point among England fans. Brown’s only appearance so far came in an impressive cameo against France in the warm-up to the Four Nations.

Luke Gale has been the only ever-present of the four halves so far, with Gareth Widdop and George Williams playing against New Zealand and Scotland respectively.
