Toronto Wolfpack have made their biggest signing yet in the shape of iconic New Zealand international Fuifui Moimoi.
The 37-year-old veteran was announced as the club’s major signing at their press conference prior to the Four Nations final in Liverpool.
His arrival comes after much speculation surrounding his future. MoiMoi has been heavily linked with the Canadian club since it was confirmed in League Express that he wouldn’t be saying at Super League-bound Leigh Centurions.
It is understood that the prop also had discussions with several other parties, including Huddersfield Giants, however, he has now signed a deal to play under Paul Rowley once again.
Moimoi will be the eighth member of the Leigh squad that earned promotion to the top flight last season playing for Toronto next year. Liam Kay, Andrew Dixon, Jonny Pownall, Bob Beswick, Greg Worthington, Richard Whiting and Jacob Emmitt.
