Former Hull Kingston Rovers hooker John Boudebza has landed himself a new contract for the 2017 season: after returning to former club Lezignan next year.
Boudebza has been actively seeking a contract with new employers for next season after being released by Hull KR following their relegation to the Championship.
He spent two seasons with the Robins, playing a part in their run to the Challenge Cup final in 2016 before featuring in the squad that suffered relegation in 2016.
It marks a return to the club from which Boudebza joined Hull KR, having spent time with Lezignan earlier in his career as he returns to Elite 1 and French rugby league after two years in England.
In a short statement on their website, Lezignan said: “The leaders of the FCL through the voice of President Alain Fabre welcome the return of the international hooker within the FCL.”
