Kevin Brown has been handed the number six shirt at Warrington.
The England international has awarded with his old number at Widnes despite the man previously holding the jersey Kurt Gidley, remaining at the club.
The veteran Aussie halfback will now play in Chris Sandow’s old number seven jersey.
As a result, Warrington will appease disgruntled fans who had got Gidley on the back of their shirt by offering printing replacement replica shirts and a reprint on the back.
