Jesse Sene-Lefao has backed proposals to adopt a Magic Weekend in Australia.
Talk down under has suggested the NRL may use the concept in future seasons, with several locations suggested as a prime location to stage the event.
Those talks have been backed by the Tigers forward, who told League Express that he turned down a chance to return to the NRL to remain at Castleford.
“I heard that they’re looking to do it,” he said.
“It’s a great occasion, it’s massive. If they copy it they should give Super League a shoutout and thank them for the idea.
“If I got to pick I’d go in Wellington, where I was born. It would be awesome. I 100% think they should have one.”
