Whitehaven have made their first external signing since coming out of special measures by bringing in winger Sam Forrester from local rivals Workington Town.
Coach Gary Charlton said over the weekend that new faces were imminent after the club satisfied the RFL that their financial difficulties from last season has been resolved.
