Dewsbury Rams close-season signing Jason Walton has undergone the minor operation he needed on his knee and is now six weeks away from a return to action.
The experienced centre or second row required a knee reconstruction at previous club Featherstone, and, having recovered from that, has had surgery on a cartilage problem.
