Leigh Centurions halfback Jarrod Sammut has received a four-match ban.
The Maltese international was dismissed in the Leythers’ victory over Halifax for a spear tackle on Ed Barber.
He has now been found guilty of a Grade D charge and will be suspended for four matches.
Sammut was making his debut in the match, only to be dismissed just before half-time.
