Ben Te’o set for rugby league return

Ben Te’o is set to return to rugby league with NRL club Brisbane Broncos.

According to Triple M, the cross-code star has been training with the club and will be unveiled in the coming weeks.

Te’o, 33, hasn’t played the 13-man game since 2014 having gone to play union.

A former Queensland representative, Te’o has enjoyed success in the 15-man game representing England and Lions during seven seasons.

However, he will now return to league with the Broncos, where he spent four seasons between 2009 and 2012.

Known for playing centre or back-row, the Broncos have facilitated the move by letting Andrew McCullough leave the club last week.
