LEEDS RHINOS head coach Brad Arthur has admitted that no players will be joining the West Yorkshire club today on transfer deadline day.
Arthur took over the reins at Headingley six weeks ago with the former Parramatta Eels boss revealing that some players had contacted him about potentially joining Leeds.
However, no one will be coming in.
“Unlikely I think. I have had a few names thrown at me but we have discussed that and touch wood we are reasonably healthy in terms of our squad.
“Clubs aren’t going to help out clubs that might be a threat. It might be better with going with what we have got.”
Sam Eseh has been recalled by Wigan Warriors, though he didn’t play against Huddersfield Giants last night.
Now Arthur has named Eseh’s replacement and given an update on Mikolaj Oledzki’s issue.
“Sam Eseh has left us so Justin Sangare will come in for a opportunity.”
“Mikolaj Oledzki has had a light week but it didn’t hurt him after a five day turnaround but he trained this morning and was fine.”
