WEST HULL have rejigged their coaching set-up in a move aimed at further strengthening the Green & Golds’ high ranking in the amateur open age scene.
Long-serving open age head coach Mark Hewitt is now the club’s director of rugby and will focus primarily on the youth and junior structure.
Ryan Steen has taken over as head coach, while Ryan Wilson is player-coach. Glyn Jones, another former player, is also a key member of the new-look coaching team.
West Hull, meanwhile, are reeling from the death on Friday, January 2 of long-serving committeeman Jimmy Lloyd (aka Mr Myagi). All at League Express send their condolences.
