North Wales Crusaders eager to perform after ‘strong pre-season’

NORTH WALES CRUSADERS head coach Carl Forster is excited in anticipation of the new season.

The Welsh side failed to make the League One play-offs in 2024, finishing just two points behind Workington Town.

However, with Forster touching on the depth of the Crusaders’ squad for 2025, he believes that his players will thrive in the season ahead.

“We can’t wait to get going, we’ve had a strong pre-season, the attitude has been spot on throughout the group, and now everyone is eager to get out and show what we’re about this year,” Forster said.

“In every training session you can feel the competition for places and then when the session ends you also get a sense of the real bond this group of players has, and for me as a coach, it’s a fantastic combination.

“Every place in the squad has competition, and the lads are thriving in that environment. We’ve added some real quality into the squad on top of the solid base we retained from last year, and now it’s a case of getting out onto the pitch and showing what we can do.”
