WHITEHAVEN have signed versatile Australian back Cameron Brown after his departure from Widnes and taken Warrington forward Tom McKinney on loan.
Brown, 24, joined Widnes after two seasons with Cornwall, for whom he scored 27 tries and kicked 47 goals in 37 appearances.
He previously played for Burleigh Bears in the Queensland Cup.
McKinney, a Cumbrian-raised 18-year-old who came through the club’s Scholarship ranks to join the Academy, stands 6ft 4in tall.
He played junior rugby for Hensingham and has represented Lancashire and England at Academy level.
