Cornwall to benefit from London Broncos dual-registration

CORNWALL coach Mike Abbott believes the club will benefit from getting players from London Broncos following the establishment of a dual-registration partnership.

The agreement provides the potential opportunity for returns to Penryn for prop Matt Ross and centre Aaron Small, who played for Cornwall in 2024 before joining the Broncos.

The clubs could also organise an annual pre-season fixture.

Abbott explained: “Not only can we give some gametime to some of their players, but there are some really good quality blokes who we know could be available.

“They’re a really well-coached side with players with Super League experience, so we could get players from that environment.”

Cornwall have brought in Broncos prop Sam Winney on loan and also fixed temporary stays for frontrow Paul Chitakunye from Batley and halfback Ben Dean from Keighley.
