Three Super League players charged in aftermath of Challenge Cup semi-finals

ELLIOTT WHITEHEAD has been banned for one match after being charged with Grade B Head Contact in the aftermath of Catalans Dragons’ Challenge Cup semi-final defeat to Hull KR

His teammate, Alrix Da Costa has also been charged with Grade B Head Contact and three penalty points, but the hooker is below the 6-8 point threshold for a ban and has instead been fined.

Leigh Leopards forward Owen Trout has been charged with Grade C Head Contact following his side’s 21-14 loss to Warrington Wolves.

Trout has received five penalty points but is still one point below the 6-8 point threshold for a ban.

Owen Trout (Leigh Leopards) – Opposition: Warrington Wolves – Grade C Head Contact – Fine – Penalty Points: 5 – Total Penalty Points: 5
