PAUL ROWLEY has issued a rallying cry to Salford Red Devils supporters following a dismal period.
One could almost write a book about the issues suffered by the Super League club – even before a ball had been kicked during the 2025 campaign.
From selling their best players to being taken over by owners that have been conspicuous by absence, the Red Devils fans have been through the mire to say the least.
With the issues yet to dissipate and as the saga with the new ownership rumbles on, there doesn’t yet seem to be much light at the end of the tunnel.
And Salford boss Rowley has called for all those associated with the club to “dig in and stick together” through the tough period.
“The fans are three generations of people coming to the ground, grandparents, parents and kids,” Rowley said.
“It’s a family thing. It’s all about the community is Salford and our club more than any, we really work together from the players to the staff to the supporters.
“They will be coming in numbers to Castleford, it’s been a tough journey for them. We need to dig in and stick together.
“Hopefully when it’s a little bit brighter we will enjoy the success and remember the tough times where we all dug in together.
“It’s special, you learn about others and yourself. It’s important to be present in the moment for everybody. We are doing a job we love.”
