WORKINGTON TOWN could move to their new stadium in time for the 2028 season.
The latest planning document was submitted earlier this month for the proposed development at Borough Park, currently the home of Workington AFC.
The proposed new stadium is due to have a total capacity of 3,700, including 1,000 seats.
If approved, construction is expected to begin in early 2026 with the goal of completing the project by late summer 2027.
