EVERTON’S Hill Dickinson Stadium won over almost everyone that went to the Second Ashes Test between England and Australia last weekend.
The new venue, which holds just over 52,000 spectators, hosted a sell-out between England and Australia, and the reviews following have been overwhelmingly positive.
And the Hill Dickinson Stadium is primed for more rugby league action, with The Guardian reporting that Hill Dickinson Stadium could host a triple header next April.
That would involve the Challenge Cup men’s semi-finals – which have been held separately alongside women’s semi-finals in recent years – and a women’s international between England and France.
