RUGBY LEAGUE fans have been voting for the most significant thing to happen in the sport in 2025.

Like any other year in rugby league, it has been a fascinating one, from Hull KR winning the treble for the first time ever in their history to Salford Red Devils capitulating financially.

In the latest League Express readers’ poll, readers were asked: “What has been the most significant thing to happen in Rugby League in 2025?”
