LEEDS RHINOS have signed rising star Lois Naidole from Huddersfield Giants for next season.
The 20-year-old has scored 18 tries in 36 appearances for Huddersfield over three seasons in the first team.
Capable of featuring at centre and in the back row, Naidole is the first new signing announced by the Rhinos following last season’s fourth-place Women’s Super League finish.
“We are really pleased to strengthen our squad with the signing of Lois,” said Leeds head coach Lois Forsell.
“She is a strong and powerful player with a competitive nature. She is young with ambition to keep developing.
“She comes with plenty of experience of playing regularly with Giants where she has been one of their standout players.”
Naidole said: “I’m excited and delighted for the opportunity to play for Leeds Rhinos.
“I had been looking at my future around rugby given my work commitments as a healthcare assistant, but decided when Leeds spoke to me about joining them that it would be a good opportunity for me.
“I know Leeds are an ambitious side and I am looking forward to the chance to test myself and help the team push on in 2026.
“I have loved my time at the Giants and am grateful to them for everything.”
Meanwhile, Mayzi Carter has moved in the other direction by signing for the Giants.
The 20-year-old England Students back-rower last featured for Leeds’ first team in 2023.
“Huddersfield is a fantastic club with an impressive pathway for developing young talent,” said Carter.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Giants and eager to embrace this new challenge. I believe I can contribute value to the team.”
