ROCHDALE HORNETS are keen to test themselves in the new-look second tier according to Ben Will.
The outside back is entering his second season at the club, having scored five tries in eight appearances after arriving from St Helens.
Hornets and Widnes had an opposed training session at the DCBL Stadium as part of their respective pre-season programmes.
And Will, 20, said, “Pre-season is going really well. I feel like it’s the best I’ve been involved with. We’ve had a couple of weeks now with the new lads and getting sessions in and gelling.
“The new Championship should be good. It’s a longer season for us with more games and it’s a bit more competitive, so we’re really looking forward to a really good year.”
