THEY may have swept the board last season, winning all four available trophies, but that hasn’t stopped anyone at Wigan from wanting even more success.
Coach Denis Betts has seen first hand the determination of his players to keep getting better and better as the season gets nearer.
“We’re always going to want to win trophies – hopes like that are always going to be there – so it’s not about us going one better than last year, it’s about looking at how we can improve as a group and what we can put into the group to make focused on getting better,” he explained.
“One really good thing towards the end of last year was you that knew that although the girls had done what they did, they wanted to be better, and they knew they could be.
“We’re a pretty young group, they are all hungry for more success and they know that they have a lot of improvement still to make, so it’s about helping them do that.”
