MELBOURNE STORM great Cameron Smith has officially joined the coaching staff of Brisbane Broncos.
It's a first club role for the Australia and Queensland legend, who has been part of Billy Slater's Maroons set-up for the last four State of Origin series.
His exact responsibilities with the reigning NRL champions have not been detailed.
