Sheffield Eagles v Oldham Match Preview & 21-man squads

SHEFFIELD EAGLES remain one of only two undefeated clubs in the Betfred Championship but they face potentially one of their biggest tests on Saturday at the Steel City Stadium when they face Oldham (kick-off 3.00pm), who were tipped as one of the favourites for the Championship title at the start of the season but have since won two from four games, having suffered defeats at London Broncos and at home to Widnes Vikings.

For the Eagles, Lewis Peachey drops out of the squad after failing a head-injury assessment in last week’s 50-0 1895 Cup win against Swinton. He is replaced by Marcus Green, while centre Josh Hodson will make his 100th career appearance if selected.

Oldham coach Alan Kilshaw has made three changes to his squad that faced Catalans Dragons in the Challenge Cup, with Jack Ormondroyd having been transferred to Bradford Bulls and Sam Littler having gone on loan to Keighley Cougars, while Australian Ewan Moore is ruled out by the concussion protocols.

Brad Day,Bailey Liu and Tom McKinney are called into the squad as replacements.
