KEIGHLEY COUGARS and Hunslet both currently sit outside the play-off places in the Betfred Championship and both clubs will be anxious to pick up points from today’s early kick-off game at Cougar Park (kick-off 1.00pm).

Keighley have five points from seven games, last week having lost a tight contest 12-20 at home to Midlands Hurricanes. Their coach Ian Hardman will be hoping for a change of fortune as he brings hooker Oli Burton, Leo Skerrett-Evans and triallist Will Groves into his squad.

His Hunslet counterpart Kyle Trout has lost Emmerson Whittel and Mason Corbett during the week, with both players having retired, and he brings in Will Kirby and Joe Phillips on loan from Hull FC, while hooker Jaden Barraclough is on trial from Hunslet ARLFC.

The Parksiders have so far gained only one win from seven Championship games and they will be anxious to nail this one to retain their fading play-off hopes.
