HULL KR have signed young outside back Ryan Westerman from city rivals Hull FC with immediate effect.
The 20-year-old, who made two senior appearances for the Black and Whites after coming through their scholarship and academy, has signed a contract until the end of 2027.
Westerman was given his first-team debut and sole Super League appearance in the final round of the 2024 season against Catalans Dragons, but hasn’t featured for Hull since a Challenge Cup win over community side York Acorn in February 2025, in which he kicked eight goals.
He spent part of last season on loan to Hunslet, making seven Championship appearances.
It’s the third time a young player has swapped FC for KR in the past year, following moves by forward Cobie Wainhouse last August and halfback Jack Charles in October.
Wainhouse, who started with the Bradford Bulls academy, is yet to play for the Robins while Charles has appeared just once, in the Challenge Cup against Lock Lane in February.
