Sydney Roosters star Tommy Talau open to Super League move

SYDNEY ROOSTERS star Tommy Talau is open to a move to Super League, Total Rugby League understands.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the 2026 NRL season and has played just twice for the Roosters during the current campaign.

Talau was rumoured to be making a move to Super League last year, and was linked with joining St Helens – the club his father, Willie, made his name at.

With chances at the Roosters currently slim, however, Talau is now much more open to moving to the northern hemisphere.

He began his career with Wests Tigers, registering 20 tries in 47 appearances between 2019 and 2023.

A move to Manly Sea Eagles ahead of the 2024 campaign saw the outside back register a further 21 tries in 36 NRL appearances before Talau swapped Brookvale for Sydney.
