BRADFORD BULLS have been hit with more season-ending injuries.
The Bulls have struggled with injuries more than most this year, with key men including Jayden Nikorima, Rowan Milnes and Loghan Lewis all spending plenty of time on the sidelines.
Eribe Doro (calf), Sam Hallas (shoulder) and Ed Chamberlain (foot) were already ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
Mitch Souter, with a syndesmosis injury suffered during a reserves game, will miss the rest of the year while Cameron Bate is facing a whole year on the sidelines after suffering damage to three knee ligaments while playing on loan for Salford.
And head coach Kurt Haggerty also said: “Waqa Blake is potentially out for the season with a knee injury.
“If Waqa’s knee does settle he could return for one or two games but it’s detrimental him playing on it.
“If we lose any more players this week then next week we could be in a world of pain.
“We’re down to the last fit 18 players.”
Haggerty also gave an update on Dan Russell’s “very bizarre” eye injury, suffered in last Thursday’s defeat to Wakefield Trinity.
“If he trains and does too much then there could be more of a bleed behind the eye which could affect him losing him sight,” he said.
“If he does get specialist clearance then he could play next week.”
