TWO of Saturday’s fixtures in the National League’s Premier Division have been postponed.

The game between Heworth and Wath Brow Hornets has been called off, as has the fixture involving Lock Lane and Siddal.

Both matches have been culled because, Total Rugby League understands, of unfit pitches – the consequence of the lack of rain in recent weeks.

Total Rugby League has not been informed by the RFL of any other postponements in the National League, although Competitions Administrator Alan Smith did confirm as the weekend approached that the National Conference Yorkshire B game between Newsome Panthers and Fryston Warriors is another victim.
