KURT HAGGERTY says he is “proud” to see Bradford Bulls plough on through their injury difficulties without resorting to loan signings.
That’s despite results like the 42-12 defeat at rivals Leeds Rhinos.
Reflecting on the game, Haggerty said: “I feel like we gifted Leeds a lot of what they got.
“We showed we could compete set for set but we can’t give away so much ball. It’s just the little moments of concentration that get us. We’re disappointed.
“We prepped to win no matter what we had available to us. Injuries are same old. I’m proud we haven’t gone into the loan market but stuck with what we’ve got.
“People can see the effort, and I take pride in that but, at this level, it’s not quite enough on its own.”
