THE Wheelchair Super League semi-finalists are now confirmed, with three rounds remaining, after the top four sides all recorded wins on Saturday.

HALIFAX PANTHERS look favourites to finish top, as they are to face two more lower sides next, and they sent a message out to their rivals as they beat EDINBURGH GIANTS 98-32.

Halifax’s England squad members returned after missing the previous weekend’s loss, and all contributed heavily to the success.

In the first half, Robert Hawkins scored three tries and kicked two goals, Jack Brown went over for three, plus a field-goal, Fin O’Neill scored two tries and Nathan Holmes one, while Wayne Boardman converted four goals.

After the break, Brown scored three more tries and another field-goal, while Hawkins got four tries and three goals. Boardman added three more goals.

Callum Davidson scored five tries and four goals for Edinburgh, with Dave Hill adding a try.

LONDON ROOSTERS strengthened their push for top spot with a convincing 74–6 victory over BRADFORD BULLS.

London were already 40–0 ahead at half-time and continued to dominate after the break, eventually scoring 13 tries.

Jack Linden led the way with four, while Max Owen also crossed four times. Mason Billington completed a hat-trick, with Lewis King and Jason Owen adding one apiece. Jason Owen was also highly accurate with the boot, kicking eleven conversions.

Bradford’s only try came from Nathaniel Wright, with Keiron Johnson adding the goal.

LEEDS RHINOS overcame SHEFFIELD EAGLES 74-42, although the Eagles threatened a comeback in the second half.

Leeds made the perfect start, with Jodie Boyd-Ward crossing for the opening try. Nathan Mulhall converted to give the Rhinos an early 6-0 lead.

Sheffield responded through a Louis Domingos try, converted by Ben Simpson, but Leeds quickly regained control.

Tom Halliwell scored two tries and converted five more times, Cam Hills scored two tries, with Tristan Norfolk, Charlie Wagstaff and Boyd-Ward also contributing.

Sheffield continued to compete, with Joe Wink-Simmonds and Stephen Reilly scoring tries.

Leeds extended their advantage early in the second half through tries from Hills, Wagstaff and Norfolk, with Nathan Mulhall converting once to put the score on to 58-14.

Chris Haynes got a try back from Sheffield in the 53rd minute, with Wink-Simmonds adding the conversion, but after Leeds had extended their lead, through a Wagstaff try and goal, Sheffield suddenly hit back with 18 points in six minutes.

Stephen Reilly scored in the 63rd minute, Domingos then crossed from kick-off, and immediately, Wink-Simmonds scored a try, kicking his third consecutive goal.

A Butler try, converted by Halliwell, made Leeds safe, before Sheffield’s burst was capped by another Stephen Reilly try in the 70th minute.

Halliwell added another late try and goal to complete things.

WIGAN WARRIORS cruised to an 84-24 win over HULL FC after being 40-12 up at half-time.

Jack Heggie opened the scoring in the second minute with a try, the first of four for him in the game, all before the break. He then landed the first of his eleven conversions.

Chris Greenhalgh scored a lone try on six minutes, followed by a Mark Williams try and goal on 15. Adam Rigby went over for a hat-trick of tries, whilst Matthew Turner, after coming off the bench, again caused trouble with his five tries, four coming in the second half. Nathan Roberts completed the scoring with a minute to go.

For Hull FC, Devon Smith went over for a hat-trick of tries, with Josh Edwards, who also converted four times, getting their final effort on 51 minutes.
