NORTH WALES CRUSADERS say a strong bond with supporters and extensive community links are central to their blueprint for a strong future.
The Colwyn Bay club are optimistic about getting the green light from the RFL to carry on in 2027 after the current ownership brought them out of severe financial issues earlier this year.
Stuart Simmons is in line to coach a side currently under the interim control of Martin Fisher, who is also a development coach at Warrington, while former player Ben Evans has been made chief executive.
An attendance of 364 was recorded for the recent clash with Goole, after which a fans’ forum was held.
The club noted on their Facebook page: “We were able to sit down together and have open, honest and transparent conversations.
“That’s what this club is all about – community, togetherness and moving forward as one.”
The club are offering free admission to their one remaining home match, against Keighley on Sunday week, August 23, in a bid to attract new supporters.
