BRAD ARTHUR has revealed that there could be “some movement” at Leeds Rhinos before the August 21 transfer deadline.
Leeds were linked with Hull FC prop Herman Ese’ese by Sky Sports last week, although those reports have been dismissed by Arthur.
However, he said more broadly: “There could be some movement.
“We’ve got ten days so there could be something for us coming.”
Meanwhile, Arthur also gave an update on Danny Levi, who hasn’t played since Leeds’ loss to Castleford Tigers last month.
During that game, Levi had to be stretchered off and taken to hospital following a heavy head knock.
But Arthur has given a positive update on the hooker, saying: “Danny is really keen to get out there and play and it should only be a couple of weeks.
“His strength has come back, he is upbeat and involved in every meeting.
“He wants to play but we have got to make sure we get the all-clear on the next scan.
“He won’t need a heap of contact work, it’s just to make sure he is safe.”
