York Knights v Leeds Rhinos preview and 21-man squads

YORK KNIGHTS head coach Mark Applegarth has made three changes to the squad that went down to Warrington Wolves last time out.

Scott Galeano and Ben Jones-Bishop return from injury whilst new signing Thomas Doyle is included in the 21-man squad for the first time following his move from Wakefield Trinity.

Nikau Williams drops out, alongside Brad Ward who returns to Newcastle Thunder. Paul Vaughan is out this week after failing an HIA in the loss to Warrington.

Leeds Rhinos boss Brad Arthur has also made three changes to the squad that lost at home to Leigh Leopards last Thursday.

Centre Jack Bird has been ruled out following a failed HIA and is replaced in the squad by new signing Matt Lodge, who will wear the number 31 squad number and debut off the bench.

Ninenteen-year-old centre Oscar Brown is included in the 21-man squad for the first time, replacing Ned McCormack, whilst James McDonnell drops out from last week as he recovers from his pectoral injury. Jeremiah Mata’utia takes his place.
