CATALANS DRAGONS have confirmed that assistant coach Ryan Sheridan will leave the club at the end of the season.
Sheridan, who has spent the last two seasons in Perpignan having joined Steve McNamara’s staff in 2024, has helped to steady the ship at the Dragons following two changes in head coach.
He took on the role of interim head coach after the sudden exit of Joel Tomkins, who had replaced McNamara, in March, until the appointment of John Cartwright two months later.
As a player, the 51-year-old racked up more than 300 career appearances – over half of which came for Leeds Rhinos between 1997 and 2002 – also turning out for Sheffield Eagles, Widnes Vikings and Castleford Tigers.
After closing out his career with hometown club Dewsbury Rams, he has had spells coaching at Featherstone Rovers, Warrington Wolves, Castleford, London Broncos, and the Dragons.
