OLI FIELD has signed a new long-term contract with York Knights.
Already contracted for 2027, Field has signed a two-year extension which will make him one of the Knights’ longest-serving players.
The 26-year-old first joined York on loan from Leeds Rhinos in 2023 before signing a permanent deal later that season.
Since then, Field has gone on to make 112 appearances for the Knights, scoring 34 tries.
After playing most of 2025 in the centres, he returned to the back row in 2026, scoring six tries in 28 appearances, including two in the notable home win over St Helens in August.
Field said: “This club feels like home to me, and I can’t wait to carry on the journey with this group.”
York boss Mark Applegarth added: “Oli has done really well in Super League. He’s relatively young and I think he’s got his best rugby in front of him.
“He became a real staple of our team this year as well as last and now he’s filling out that frame of his and he’s showing everyone what he can do. I think he’s going to be really good.”
